Project Description

The Buckalew’s got a referral from their neighbors, and contacted us to design a new second story deck for them.  They not only wanted a deck that would compliment and match their new home, but also to create some dry usable space under the deck.  To accomplish this, we installed Trex RainEscapes under decking which channels the water out to a gutter at the front edge of the deck.

On top of the RainEscapes we installed low maintenance TimberTech decking with an Azek PVC decking race track perimeter.  We then installed black aluminum Westbury railings capped with matching PVC decking drink rail.  To finish it out, we wrapped all of the treated framing materials with LP SmartSide trim to match the house.
