Details | Hercules Porch
The Thomas project was a collaboration between PHI Decks, Mickman Brothers Landscaping, and Grayley Concrete. It started out with a rough set of plans, however, it turned into a complete design/build project for us. The scope changed several times throughout the project and we did many mockups and sample drawings to make sure that the final product was exactly what the homeowner wanted. The project features over 500 square feet of an upper porch that includes an outdoor grilling area with an exhaust fan to keep the smoke out.
It also features a fireplace with tv, Westbury aluminum railings, Trex Transcends low-maintenance decking, Trex Elevations steel framing, Phantom powered retractable screens as well as retractable vinyl in all of the openings. The upper level also has a spiral staircase that leads to over 500 square feet of a protected entertaining area below. This lower area has a stamped concrete floor with hot tub, 70″ outdoor tv, prepped for swim spa as well as Phantom screens and vinyl to keep the bugs and weather out. Extending out from this area is the outdoor living area that is highlighted by a curved fireplace which is flanked by two fire bowls.
