Details | Jaws Deck
After being in their house for a few years, the Schneider’s decided they were ready to add to their backyard and outdoor living space. After getting ideas that they had been storing up and a few design renditions, we were able to get started. This project was broken into a few different areas; deck, screen porch below the deck, outdoor grilling area under the pergola, beautiful landscaping and some new storage space next to the garage. Azek low maintenance decking, Westbury aluminum railings and custom painted composite fascia were all used as the start of this awesome deck project. We were able to tie in the brick from the front of their house by building brick columns and an eye catching arch across the front. We installed RainEscapes drainage system, by Trex, to keep the space below the deck dry. Tongue and groove ceiling creates a finished ceiling and allows for a ceiling fan, lighting, and speakers to be incorporated into the space.
Phantom retractable screens help keep the bugs out and add a little more privacy below the deck. The pergola, off to the side, helps extend the space and makes a great spot to grill and enjoy the built in fire pit. A custom colored and stamped concrete patio completes the area. Beautiful landscaping was added to compliment the deck project and finish off the backyard. The final aspect to this project was the custom shed next to the garage. Abiding by neighborhood association requirements, we built a shed that blends in with the house and looks like it has always been there. The concrete floor, lighting, and integrated landscaping add great usable storage space and help the shed blend in. This project is one of a kind and is getting plenty of attention in the neighborhood.
